Letter from Head of School

Thank you for considering Valor Christian School International. This school is a dream that God has been developing in me for over twenty years through my profession in public and private school education.This dream has become a reality through God’s grace and opening the doors, the faith and prayers of a courageous community and the tireless efforts of an amazing development team.

I have two great passions in life, helping others to find Jesus in a relational, grace-filled way, and education that inspires curiosity and builds confidence in every learner. I believe in multiple intelligences, and that God has uniquely gifted each one of our students. It is our role as educators to help our students understand God has a plan and purpose for his/her life. It is our hope that while at VCSI each one of our students will discover his/her passion and giftings and be empowered to take the lead in his/her chosen field.

I am convinced that we can effectively transform our culture through education. It is my hope that we will provide a “faith with action” oriented education, that will develop within each child the confidence, as well as, a sense of responsibility to effectively reach his/her world with the love of Christ. If we desire our children to lead and be action oriented, we must train and provide empowering opportunities in their development  years.

I believe Christian education was meant to train our students to be the leaders in their communities. We do this best by infusing high quality academics with real world experiences to impact our world. Our educational experience is meaningful and provides “just-in-time” learning”. Betsy Brown Braun sums it up well, “train your child for the path, not the path for your child.” As  we make the world our classroom and engage our students in global competencies it provides a meaningful, life changing academic experience, as well as, impacts our world in profound ways for generations.
